Open auditions for “Newsies”

Auditions for St. Anthony Community Theater’s production of Disney’s “Newsies”, directed by Marci Lucht, will take place Friday, May 19, 6-9 pm, and Saturday, May 20, 2:30-7 pm. Callbacks will be Sunday, May 21, as needed. Walk-ups are also welcome. Seeking actors of all ages (11 years and older), experience levels, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, cultures, races, socioeconomic statuses and abilities. Parent or guardian permission is required for those under 18. Auditions will be held at the St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Rd. Come in and complete the information at the Community Center right before your audition. Bring a recent headshot  (or we can take one) and be prepared to sing a short excerpt of a song (about 16 measures of any favorite) and for light movement (no flip-flops). Performances will be at St. Anthony Village High School auditorium on the last weekend of July and the first weekend of August.
