After a two-year wait, the artists in the Casket Arts campus, 681 17th Ave NE, will open their doors to the public for the signature fall arts event, Open Casket on Friday, Nov. 5, 5-10 pm; Saturday, Nov. 6, 10 am-6 pm; Sunday, Nov. 7, 12-5 pm. Enjoy a uniquely curated collection of exciting new work from locally and nationally renowned artists and makers, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, photography, home wares, and installation art. The Casket Arts campus encompasses the Main Building, the Carriage House, and the Factory Building, home to NE Sculpture Gallery. Each building offers a unique opportunity to shop for art and meet artists and makers. Food trucks include Potter’s Pasties on Friday, Muddy Tiger on Saturday, and Misfit Coffee on Sunday. Groveland Confections will be inside selling chocolates.
