Open Casket Studio Art Show

Casket Arts presents, Open Casket, their premier open studio event of the year, Nov. 1-3. Friday, 5-10 pm, Saturday, 12-8 pm and Sunday, 12-5 pm. 681 17th Ave. NE. Info: casketArts.com. Join them for their annual fall campus-wide event. Open studios, 100+ local artists and makers, live music, food trucks, and custom cocktails by Vikre Distillery in their Basement Speakeasy. Many talented tenant artists will open their studios to show and sell exciting new work in painting, sculpture, jewelry, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, photography, installation art, and more. Do a fall arts crawl through the three buildings of Casket Arts before you head over to Art Attack, Art This Way, Thorp Warp, and California Dreaming at the other flagship studio buildings in Northeast.

The entire Casket Arts campus will be alive with activity, from jewelry-makers at Quench Jewelry Arts, to live folk and americana music on the 4th floor, to sculpture in the NE Sculpture Gallery Factory, not to mention open studios and hallways filled with the best artists in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. Vikre Distillery (based in Duluth) will be back to set up their Basement Speakeasy, serving custom cocktails and beer from 612Brew all weekend long, alongside live music Friday night and a burlesque review on Saturday night.
