Pan-Orthodox Music Symposium

The 2016 Pan-Orthodox Music Symposium will be Wednesday, June 22 through Sunday, June 26, at St Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral, 1701 Fifth St. NE. The event, hosted by the International Society for Orthodox Church Music, is for musicians, directors, conductors, singers, choir members, composers, conductors, and musicologists, and will include presentations and workshops, music reading sessions, and rehearsals.

The symposium will culminate in a festive hierarchical All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy, and will also feature a special concert by the critically-acclaimed vocal ensemble Cappella Romana, Thursday, June 23, at the Basilica of St. Mary in downtown Minneapolis.
