Parking Lot renovation open house

The parking lot on the west side of Johnson Street south of the 29th Avenue corner needs renovation. Plans for water runoff capture, repaving, curbs, and landscaping will be available for community review at an open house Monday, Nov. 18, 4:30-6:30 pm, in the fellowship hall at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, 1509 27^th Ave. NE.

There will be a formal presentation at 5:30 pm by consultants Studio Gro and Civil Methods. Johnson Street Merchants Association representatives will be on hand.

The planning phase was funded by Mississippi Watershed Management Organization, Audubon Park Neighborhood Association and the merchants. The plans serve as a model for others contemplating similar projects.
