Peter Geyen exhibit at Truckstop Gallery

Truckstop Gallery, 20 Grove St. #72, Nicollet Island, will have an opening reception for “Art for Sale,” a solo art exhibit by Peter Geyen, Saturday, Aug. 25, 5-10 pm. Geyen’s work incorporates a world of objects, sculpture, and imagery in which the viewer is compelled to reflect on our shared contemporary experience of irony, absurdity, and imagination. The exhibit will feature several pieces of mixed-media artwork media including fiberglass, cast bronze and iron, oil paintings, wood pieces, and ceramics. Patty & the Buttons, Gabe Barnett & Them Rounders, and Kiss the Tiger will perform live music. The exhibit will also be open by appointment: info@truckstop.gallery.
