Plant + tend the demonstration prairie at Nicollet Island

Friends of the Mississippi River will meet June 8 to plant additional plugs of prairie grass and pull garlic mustard at their prairie restoration site on Nicollet Island. All are welcome. No experience is needed; however, registration is required and capacity is limited. All tools, gloves and training will be provided. This event is part of FMR’s Above the Falls Stewards program, engaging North and Northeast Minneapolis residents to protect and restore their riverfront parks.
