Art to Change the World presents the first Pop Up Palette Party, Sunday, Aug. 8, 12-8 pm at Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St. NE. Exhibiting are 23 artists involved with Art to Change the World projects in 2021. A wide range of media including painting, ceramics, photography, wearable art, mixed media, sculpture and fine art quilting will be exhibited and for sale.
The public is invited to this event to meet the artists and purchase their creations. Music will be live throughout the day. The line up is as follows:
12:30 pm: Charlo (Charlie Henrikson) accompanied by Tim Donahue, 2:30 pm: Matt Yetter; 3:30 pm: Enso Daiko; 5 pm: Marko Fields; 6 pm: Ngange Akale accompanied by Daniel Lenz; 7 pm: Dave Dvorak.
The following artists showing work live or have studios in Northeast: Barbara Bridges, Lucy Schroepfer, Cory Favre, Marco Fields, Kelly Jean Ohl (represented by Kolman Pryor Gallery), Owen Brown, Judy Ostrowski, Anne Kleinhenz, Laurie Salmela, Ashton Sibinski, Mary Bacon, Layl McDill, Kathryn Flora, Candy Kuehn, Hannah Foster, Katie Palmer, Jodi Janz, Alison Price, Kris Lange, and Jodi Reeb.
In addition to this one day mini festival there will also be an exhibit curated by Alison Price hanging inside Sociable Cider Werks. This exhibit runs from Aug. 1-Sept. 30. More info at: arttochangetheworld.org/musicians-for-august-8-2021/.
