Preserve Minneapolis walking tours

Preserve Minneapolis is offering a line-up of more than 20 summer Walking Tours of Minneapolis’ historic neighborhoods. On each tour, guides with experience in fields like architecture, history, and preservation, will tell the “stories behind the stories” and give participants a greater understanding of the area’s social and built history. Tours run through Sept. 25, and include: North Minneapolis Former Synagogues Walking Tour, Aug. 13; Historic East Hennepin Walking Tour, Aug. 14; Homewood: An Urban Planned Community Walking Tour, Aug. 21; Architect Avenue Walking Tour, Sept. 1; and Historic Theaters of Minneapolis Walking Tour, Sept. 3.
