Red Undie Run for AIDS
December 1, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Event Navigation
Sunday, December 1, 3:15 pm, Mill Ruins Park. The first annual Red Undie Run is in commemoration of World AIDS Day on December 1. Please arrive on the Mill Ruins (downtown) side of Stone Arch Bridge by 3:15 pm and be ready to strip down to your Red Undies to strip away stigma about HIV/AIDS. Grab your red briefs, bra, boxers, panties, jockstrap or thong and get ready for the coldest and most meaningful run of the year. The Red Undie Run is just over a mile run across Stone Arch Bridge and back to create awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS. The I-35W Bridge will be lit up red in honor of World AIDS Day and the many lives we have lost. Join in at eagleBOLTbar after the run to warm up and continue the fun! The Aliveness Project, along with its community sponsors and leaders, are excited to continue to raise awareness for people living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS. World AIDS day is an annual event to honor those we have lost, as well as those still living with the disease and continued efforts to prevent new infections.
