Opening reception: Friday, March 20, 6-9 pm, Casket Arts-Carriage House, 1720 NE Madison St. Gallery hours: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 12-5 pm through April 18 or by appointment: 612-616-6562. “Sara Hanson’s Bio Scenic Travel Machine,” has landed in Northeast to research life on earth and to share information, experiences and remnants from its travels. The rover is collecting “Message Portraits,” of you, your message and the rover in an interplanetary space-factory-scape of dolls, doll molds, space junk, and orbital debris cast in metal. “You Are a Real Doll,” invites you to delight in, imagine and share experiences, stories, memories, examine, investigate and survey the histories and cultural connotations of the doll.
