St. Anthony Community Theater (SACT) will perform Roald Dahl’s “Matilda: The Musical” this summer at St. Anthony Village High School. On-stage and back-stage opportunities for this production are open for anyone age 11 to 100. Auditions for on-stage roles will be Thursday, May 19, 6:30-9 pm, and Saturday, May 21, 12-5:30 pm at the St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Rd NE. Performances will be July 29-Aug. 7, with rehearsals beginning in mid-June. Anyone interested in participating either on-stage or behind the scenes can sign up here: https://SACTheater.org (Parent or guardian permission required for those under 18.) Everyone is welcome at SACT and they especially want to make sure that underrepresented BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals know they are here to provide a platform to amplify their voices and showcase their talents.
