Memorial Blood Centers is teaming up with the Minnesota State Fair to give blood donors a chance to win tickets to the Great Minnesota Get-Together. All presenting donors in July are automatically entered to win one of 27 pairs of Minnesota State Fair tickets. Visit MBC.ORG/FAIR for more information. Plus, all donors from June 28 through July 9 receive a limited edition T-shirt.
Donors are urgently needed due to a critical shortage of all blood types. This shortage is anticipated to continue over the Fourth of July holiday. The need for blood doesn’t take a summer vacation, and Memorial Blood Centers needs over 2,000 donors to step up every week to maintain a steady blood supply for local hospitals.
Visit MBC.ORG to review eligibility guidelines and make an appointment at your nearest donor center or at one of the following public blood drives. While walk-in donors are always welcome, they encourage donors to make appointments in advance.
