The Minneapolis Police Department’s Second Precinct, 1911 Central Ave. NE, will have a family friendly community open house, Monday, May 16, 4-7 p.m. Participants can visit with officers and see displays, including K-9, Mounted Patrol, the Bomb Unit, the Minneapolis Emergency Communications Center, SWAT, Crime Prevention Specialists, and Animal Control. There will be food and beverages, a drawing for six free kids bikes.
