Minneapolis Parks and Recreation urges adults to sign up for fall sports leagues. Register at www.teamsideline.com/minneapolisparks. Here’s what’s happening in Northeast:
Pickleball Leagues: Mondays-Thursdays, four weeks in Sept., Windom Park, 2251 Hayes St. NE. Beginner, Beginner Plus, Intermediate, Advanced leagues available. Cost: $40 per two-player team (sign up as team).
Intro to Pickleball Classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays, four weeks of two-hour sessions in Sept., Windom Park, 2251 Hayes St. NE. Intro to Pickleball, Intro to Pickleball II. Cost: $80
Indoor Volleyball: Sundays-Thursdays, Oct.-Dec., Ten weeks of play, including tournament at Bottineau, 2000 2nd St. NE; Northeast Athletic Field Park, 1615 Pierce St NE; Van Cleve, 901 15th Ave SE.; Windom, 2251 Hayes St. NE. Leagues include Co-ed, Sundays-Thursdays; Open (no gender requirements) Sundays and Wednesdays; Women’s, Thursdays. Cost: $385
Softball: Co-ed Session 2: Four-week doubleheaders, Sundays-Thursdays, Sept.-Oct. at Northeast, 1615 Pierce St NE. Cost: $300
