Silver Lake Symphonic Winds Christmas concert

The Silver Lake Symphonic Winds will have their annual Christmas concert, Sunday, Dec. 16, 2 pm, at Oak Hill Baptist Church, 4141 University Ave. NE. The concert will feature a variety of Christmas music performed by the band, which is comprised of adults and high school students from Columbia Heights and surrounding communities.

A free-will donation will be collected to help fund a scholarship that will be awarded to a Columbia Heights High School senior who will pursue music in  college. Christmas cookies, hot cider, hot cocoa, and coffee will be served. Info: https://silverlakesymphonic.weebly.com/.
