Three Rivers Park District is hosting “Silverwood OnStage,” live music, film, and art performances, at the Silverwood Park amphitheater, 2500 County Road E, throughout the summer. In the event of rain all musical and theatrical performances will move inside to the Great Hall in the Silverwood Park visitor’s center. Silverwood student show on Thursday, Aug. 11, reception, 6-8 p.m. Mingle with artists from programs at Silverwood during an opening reception for their latest exhibition. Children 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Exhibition runs August 11-31.
Jillian Rae, multi-talented violinist, lead vocalist, and songwriter with a creative and dynamic style of violin playing on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 6:30-8 p.m.
The Cactus Blossoms, brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum grew up in northeast Minneapolis and have been blending their voices as The Cactus Blossoms since 2010. They play Sunday, Aug. 21 6:30-8 p.m.
Michael Monroe plays Wednesday, Aug. 24, 6:30-8 p.m.
