Silverwood Park activities

Preschool Drop-off: Doodlebugs, Tuesdays, March 14 and 21, 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Drop off your kids, ages 4-5, for art and nature activities based on children’s books and nature. The cost is $10.
Sunset Yoga, Tuesdays, March 14 and 21, 7 p.m.-8:15 p.m., link breath with movement, build awareness, concentration and strength by deepening the connection of mind and body. The cost is $12 per session. For ages 14 and older.
Gallery Reception for “Constructed Realities,” Thursday, March 9, 6-8 p.m., mingle with artists Donny Gettinger and Emily Swanberg in the Silverwood Gallery. The exhibit will be open through April 30.
Camera Club, Saturday, March 11, 9:30-11:30 a.m., meet with fellow photography buffs to share work, techniques, and process, bring 4-5 images on a portable drive. For ages 14 and older. The cost is $5.
Art When the Moon is Full: Maple Moon, Saturday, March 11, 7-8:30 p.m., collect and sample sap from the sugar bush while observing the full moon. For ages 6 and older. The cost is $5.
Puppet Adventures of Ned the Naturalist, Sunday, March 12, 1-3 p.m., follow Ned the Nerdy Naturalist as he saves nature, and make take-home art.
Walk with a Naturalist, Saturday, March 12, 1:30-2:30 p.m., watch and listen for birds and wildlife. Bring binoculars if you have them.
The Spring Spectacular Circus, four sessions, Monday-Thursday, March 13-16, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., kids age 6-12 can create and rehearse circus acts. The cost is $200.
Walk with a Photographer, Wednesday, March 15, 8 a.m.-9 a.m. and 6-7 p.m., bring your camera and join fellow photographers to share shooting tips.
In the Park After Dark: Spring’s Starry Skies, Thursday, March 16, 7:30-9 p.m., discover fascinating things outside when the sun goes down. Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. The cost is $5.
Make and Mingle: Spring Equinox, Sunday, March 19, 6-8 p.m., celebrate the coming season through art, nature discoveries, and outdoor activities. For ages 21 and older. The cost is $12.
