Snack and Squish

“Hunt and Gather,” Wednesday, Nov. 13, 12-1 pm, Flux Arts Building, Studios A and E, 2505 Howard St. NE. Clay Squared owners Josh Blanc and Layl McDill love to find unique treasures to use in their art. Josh has an artful collection of stamps and Layl has junk jars galore. They’ll share stories of discoveries made while traveling or just poking around in their own basement. Then do a little squishing of clay onto a small bake-able object in Layl’s studio and play around with texture in Josh’s space. Snacks this time will be hunted and gathered from Holy Land. Bring a coworker, friend, spouse, date, child or furry friend.
