St. Anthony Falls Lab public tour
July 6, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Are you interested in cutting-edge fluid mechanics research and how that can impact our understanding of the environment? Consider visiting the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory. At this interdisciplinary lab under the College of Science and Engineering at the U of M, there are faculty and research groups from five different departments on campus. Their work primarily focuses on how fluid dynamics impact the environment (climate, precipitation, stormwater, lakes, rivers, etc.), and energy (wind power, hydroelectric power). On this tour, you will receive an overview of a variety of different experiments, visit some of the unique features of the lab and hear about the interesting history of this building. Thursday, July 6, 2 pm, Saint Anthony Falls Laboratory, 2 Third Ave. SE. For information and to register: https://events.tc.umn.edu/event/12054-saint-anthony-falls-lab-public-tour.
