St. Anthony Fire Dept. open house

As part of Fire Prevention Week, St. Anthony Fire Dept. will hold an open house Saturday, Oct. 5, 1-4 pm, at the department’s garage at 3505 Silver Lake Rd. Firefighters will demonstrate a live burn and allow visitors to use a firehose and get a close-up look at the fire equipment. Sparky the Firedog will be there, and lunch will be served. Residents will also have a chance to recycle used home fire extinguishers.
