History Discussion: 2010-Present:Wednesday, March 12, 3:30-4:30 pm. Discuss United States history 2010-present with neighbors and friends. Advance reading material available at the library. High school students welcome.
Petite Concerts: Thursday, March 13, 3:30-4:15 pm. Register online at www.hclib.org. Please register each child attending. A maximum of two caregivers per registered child may also attend.Led by early childhood music specialists, your family will listen to and respond to classical music together. Abby Moore, Mississippi Watershed Management Organization: Monday, March 24, 6:30-7:30 pm. Abby Moore, outreach program manager, Mississippi Watershed Management Organization, will describe the challenges of the Mississippi Watershed, such as population density, impervious surfaces and pollution in the urban environment. She will discuss the ways the organization works with local governments, organizations and communities to protect and improve water quality. Examples of green infrastructure projects, partnerships and community engagement will demonstrate the variety of ways to address these challenges.
