Abby Moore, Mississippi Watershed Management Organization: Monday, March 24, 6:30-7:30 pm. Abby Moore, outreach program manager, Mississippi Watershed Management Organization, will describe the challenges of the Mississippi Watershed, such as population density, impervious surfaces and pollution in the urban environment. She will discuss the ways the organization works with local governments, organizations and communities to protect and improve water quality. Examples of green infrastructure projects, partnerships and community engagement will demonstrate the variety of ways to address these challenges.

Watch the Movie, Make a Craft: “Treasure Planet:” Tuesday, April 1, 6-8 pm. Go to the library every first Tuesday evening of the month for family fun time. There will be a quick introduction for the supplies and crafts available, and then watch a fun film. “Treasure Planet” is rated PG.
