Stone Arch Bridge virtual public meeting March 19

The Minnesota Dept. of Transportation will hold a virtual public meeting about the reconstruction of the Stone Arch Bridge Tuesday, March 19, 5:30-6:30 pm. Get an overview of the project, construction impacts, and schedule and participate in a Q&A session. Register at https://form.jotform.com/240504352939154?. Soon, crews will repair and replace stone, replace the mortar on the entire bridge, and make other repairs as needed. During construction, pedestrians and bicyclists will not be able to cross the full length of the bridge through fall 2025. Crews will close half of the bridge at a time during construction, allowing people to walk or bike to the middle of the bridge and turn around at the closure. Construction is anticipated to be completed by spring 2026.
