Storytelling Panel on Aging

“Staying Engaged as You Age,” Storytelling Night is a panel of neighbors who are engaged in volunteering, leadership, and creative work in the community. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 6:30-7:30 pm, First Lutheran Church, 1555 40th Ave. NE, Columbia Heights. You will hear their stories and what motivates them to stay engaged. Panelists are Gummadi Franklin, leader in India Association of MN, founder of PUSHPA to help marginalized people in India; Phil Mattison, career chemist, mentor to men being released from prison, and school tutor; Darcy Wills, leader assisting seniors in her building, foster care provider, and leader in her church; Pat Stinson, elementary teacher for 40 years, volunteers at the local library, school, and her church. All ages are invited.
