People of Nepal: Highlights of Tamang culture (online): Continuous, June 15-July 31. Access content at www.hclib.org/events. Nepal is inhabited by 100 caste/ethnic groups and innumerable cultures. Learn about intertwined cultures among various caste/ethnic groups, with a focus on Tamang rituals, clothing, food and music. History discussion (in person): Thursday, June 23, 3:30-4:30 pm. Discuss United States history 1815-1861, including the prelude to the Civil War with neighbors and friends. Advance reading material available at library. High school students welcome.
