The Columbia Heights Recreation Department, Columbia Heights Lions, and HeightsNEXT are hosting Taste of Heights, Friday, Nov. 16, 6-9 pm, at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE. Participants can taste food from local restaurants for $2 a sample. There will also be face painting and a Banfill-Locke art table for kids, a Lions Club bar (cash only), and free beer and wine samples. Admission is free.
