Event ID: #12985
March 1, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Posted on February 6th, 2020
Sunday, March 1, 6-8 pm at Rogue Buddha Gallery, 357 13th Ave. NE in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District – As spring approaches with its promise of new life, look at working through feelings around death, through arts. Death in nature as part of the cycle of life, returning nutrients to the earth. Curiosity about the possibility of an afterlife, heaven, hell, or purgatory. Grief, relief, and working through emotions of ambiguous loss and other things unresolved.
Join a handful of artists for fast-paced presentations to spark discussion. Around 7 pm, those who would like to dig deeper may stay for the Twin Cities Death Café, a guided discussion with Christin Ament.
PechaKucha Nights are a signature event of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District’s HATCH committee, which is dedicated to assessing and filling the need for an arts center, whether in a physical space or online.
