The Citizen’s Academy

The Citizen’s Academy is a way to get to know your police agency better, and gain a “behind the scenes” perspective on how your officers use their tools and skills to keep the community walkable, sustainable, and safe. Saturday, Sept. 28, 8 am-4:30 pm, 3301 Silver Lake Rd, St. Anthony. Topics include Police Equipment, Response to Resistance, SWAT, K9, and DWI. There will be real-life, scenario-based, and hands-on experiences during these sessions. You will learn, experience, and interact with police officers throughout the day.
