The Great Eastside Get-Together

The Great Eastside Get-Together, formerly known as the Eastside BBQ, is back from its pandemic hiatus. On Friday, Sept. 3, 5-7 pm, visit the Edison High School field and plaza, 700 22nd Avenue NE, for food trucks, corn hole, kids’ activities, music and quality time with the community. Welcome the school communities at Thomas Edison High School, Northeast Middle School, Waite Park Community School, Pillsbury School, Webster Elementary, Sheridan Arts and Spanish School, Marcy Arts Magnet and new to the Edison pathway, Pratt School PTO. Stay for the Edison home football opener, kickoff at 6 pm. Food offered from an array of local food trucks. Free food for students through MPS Street Eats Food Truck (while supplies last). Free concession stand meal with purchase of a game ticket. Sponsored by the Edison Activity Council.
