Catholic Eldercare will host a free presentation on Monday, March 4, 1:30-3 pm at the MainStreet Lodge, 909 Main St. NE. When John Wilkes Booth assassinated Abraham Lincoln, the Civil War was ending and emotions were high. Killing the President was just part of Booth’s plan. Join in to explore this fragile time in history, and the plot that very nearly succeeded in toppling the government. Presented by David Jones as part of Catholic Eldercare’s Elder Enrichment Series.
