Edison Third Annual Soup Wars at Solar Arts

The Edison Activity Council (EAC) will hold its Third Annual Soup Wars fundraiser, a family friendly community get-together, Thursday, Feb. 21, 6-9 pm, at the Solar Arts Building, courtesy of Chow Girls, 711 15th Ave. The Council anticipates having more than 40 soups to sample with prizes given to the best soup in each category: international, vegetarian/vegan, chili, Minnesota-made, and free for all.
The cost for entering a soup is $10. If you provide the recipe at the door, you’ll receive a free Edison pint glass. Pre-registration is encouraged, but the cutoff is 6 pm on Feb 21. Beer and wine and non-alcoholic options will be for sale. Live music will be provided by Edison’s Jazz Band and vocal ensemble. There will also be a silent auction and a wine/beer raffle.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for kids and students and will be available at the door or in advance at the Edison High School office or online at edison-activity-council.ticketleap.com.
