CANCELED: Realist Paintings by Tom Maakestad

The artist reception/tour at Hewing Hotel has been CANCELED. From Kolman & Pryor Gallery: “We are sorry to disappoint all of you who were planning to attend the reception.”

Kolman & Pryor Gallery and the Hewing Hotel Cordially will hold an artist reception and tour for “Realist Paintings by Tom Maakestad Wednesday, March 18, 6-8 pm, at the hotel, 300 Washington Ave. N. Take a tour of the exhibit with Maakestad at 7 pm. There will be hors d’oeuvres hosted by the Hewing Hotel and a cash bar.

With funding from a Minnesota State Arts Board artist initiative grant, Maakestad was able to hire a plane to provide him with aerial views of rivers, countrysides, flat landscapes, and horizons. The exhibit runs through May 5. Info: kolmanpryorgallery.com.
