Truck or Treat returns Oct. 29 to Huset Park East, 1-4 pm. Kids can explore fire trucks, snowplows, tow trucks, police cars and military vehicles. Free candy for kids – pick up bags at the welcome table for candy upon arriving. Free hot cider and coffee courtesy of Community Grounds while supplies last. Enter to win a ride to school in a City vehicle – within Columbia Heights. Healing Hearts Rescue Pet Costume Contest (2:30 pm) – sign up on site – winner receives a free exam from Pet Central. Puppet Wagon shows (1:30 pm and 3 pm). Activities and games for kids. Free face painting and airbrush tattoos. Call Will Rottler, 763-706-3614, with questions.
