Twin Cities Girls’ Choir presents Standing Tall
December 7, 2019
The Twin Cities Girls’ Choir (TCGC) presents a concert, “Standing Tall,” on Saturday, Dec. 7, at St. Paul Reformation Church, 100 Oxford St. N, St Paul. Several of their singers come from St. Anthony, Columbia Heights and Northeast. The theme of the concert addresses what girls in our world need to be whole, complete, achieve their dreams, and STAND TALL. The girls will present songs that address what they need and share their responses to the question “Why I sing.” The concert is part of TCGC’s 2019-2020 “Enough” series of performances, and marks the journey girls and young women take to discover their worth. The Twin Cities Girls’ Choir is a Minneapolis, performance-based music education program for girls grades 3-9. They offer young women, in two age/ability-based choirs, the experience of musical artistry and excellence through choral singing by empowering them to find their unique voices. Tickets: Adult $15; Student $10. Info: hervoiceproductions.org, 612-333-8292.
