Twin Cities Women’s Choir presents “Rebel Girls”

The Twin Cities Women’s Choir, including members from St. Anthony, Northeast Minneapolis, and Columbia Heights, will present a concert, “Rebel Girls,” Saturday, Nov. 23, at 7 pm, at Roseville Lutheran Church, 1215 Roselawn Ave. W.

The concert, which celebrates women and girls who have risen above circumstances to make their mark on the world, is the first concert of a four-year vision to raise awareness and lift up the voices of women and girls through music.

The concert will feature “Brave,” “Malala,” and “Heroes,” written by Sara Bareilles, Joan Szymko, and Ann Reed, respectively. Tickets are $23 in advance ($15 for students) and $25 at the door.
