Friday, Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 21, Ukrainain American Community Center, 301 Main St. NE. Celebrate Ukrainian culture and traditions by experiencing dance, music, food and drinks in the company of an open and welcoming community. This year’s festival features a special presentation and acoustic performance by the Ukrainian band Antytila. Admission is free, however, freewill donations are welcome and will support humanitarian aid for Ukraine. Friday, Sept. 20, 6-9 pm: Evening dance party, live music from UVB and guest DJ; dance workshop with Cheremosh Dance Ensemble; beer garden, Ukrainian street food and donations to Protez Foundation. Saturday, Sept. 21, 12-4 pm: Authentic Ukrainian food, craft vendors, beer garden, Cheremosh Dance Ensemble, Varenyky Eating Contest, kids’ activities, cultural exhibits, Ukrainian aid organizations, donations to Antytila Foundation. 4-8 pm: Culture vs. War presented by Antytila (screening of the documentary), acoustic performance of top hits, overview of charity projects, live Q&A with the band, auction of unique items, photos with the audience.
