“Untamed Heart” at Nicollet Island

Head to the Nicollet Island Pavilion Sunday, Jan. 19, 3 pm for a special screening of “Untamed Heart” — a movie filmed in the neighborhoods surrounding the Pavilion. This 1993 romantic drama stars Christian Slater and Marisa Tomei as two unlikely lovers whose story unfolds amidst some of Minneapolis’ most iconic spots. You’ll spot Jim’s Coffee Shop, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Jefferson Street NE, Florence Court Apartments on University Avenue SE, and even the old Met Center in this locally-made classic.
