Realist Paintings by Tom Maakestad: Through May 5. Although the Hewing Hotel is closed due to the COVID-19 emergency, you are now able to see all of the artwork in the Hewing Hotel show, Realist Fiction Paintings by Tom Maakestad at kolmanpryorgallery.com. With funding from a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant, Tom was able to hire a plane to provide him with aerial views of rivers, country sides, flat landscapes, and horizons.
