The choirs of Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE, will present a spring concert on Saturday, May 4, 7:30 pm. Admission is free, but a $20 donation is encouraged in support of music at Holy Cross. The program features works by G. Aichinger, G. Allegri, F. Anerio, S. Backman, E.C. Bairstow, A. Beach, W. Byrd, R. Dering, G. Gabrieli, E. Osterman, M. Praetorius, J.P. Sweelinck and J. Travers. In addition, there will be opportunities for festive congregational singing accompanied by organ, brass quartet and timpani. A reception will follow.
