Virtual hearing on Minneapolis Parks Ecological Plan

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board will hold virtual a public hearing on the Minneapolis Parks Ecological System Plan, Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 6:30 pm during the regular Board of Commissioners meeting. The plan will set a vision for making parks and public lands more friendly to the environment.
Due to COVID-19, all board meetings are held virtually. The public is encouraged to view the meeting from home and email comments (limited to 300 words) to the Secretary to the Board at jringold@minneapolisparks.org before 3:30 pm on Aug. 19.
Although all commissioners will not be physically present, the Board Room, 2117 West River Road, is open to the public during board meetings. Social distancing is encouraged. To make an in-person comment, call 612-230-6400 before 6 pm on Aug. 19.
An updated version of the plan will be posted several days before the hearing at minneapolisparks.org/ecoplan.
