October Drop-In Tech Time: Wednesdays, 11 am-12:30 pm. If you need support with specific tech questions, please feel free to drop in. ESNS staff can help with day-to-day questions regarding things like how to search the internet, app functions, making text bigger, etc. Let them know in advance you plan on stopping by Oct. 23 and/or Oct. 30.
Chrome Essentials: Mondays and Wednesdays, 11 am-12:30 pm, Nov. 4-Dec. 4. In-person. Learn to use a Chromebook for email, web research, and more so you can stay connected online. In this 5-week course, you will learn the essentials of how to use a Chromebook, a type of laptop that is great for beginners who just want to use the internet. Chromebooks are fast, secure, and cost-effective computers that run the Google Chrome operating system. By the end of the course, you’ll have a foundation for using the device to navigate the internet and you’ll be able to send and receive emails. Participants should have a Gmail address. Some prior experience using the internet is recommended.
