“We Are What We Drink”

Explore the origins of our drinking water. The Mississippi Watershed Management Organization Stewardship Fund Community grant supported 10 people selected from the larger MWMO neighborhood population, to meet, collect trash along the Mississippi and participate in an immersive curriculum unit that was collaboratively developed by project manager Barbara Bridges and the participants themselves. The result was the Mississippi Pearl, with 21 drawers of river treasures. This free workshop lets you explore Pearl’s 21 discovery drawers and participate in experiments and activities focused on water quality. Wednesday, April 5, 6-8 pm.
