Winter break programming at Columbia Heights Library

Art Club, Thursday, Dec. 27, 2-3 pm, students in grades K-6 can learn about an artist and then get creative with art projects. Registration required.

CraftLab, monthly DIY craft projects for grades 4 and up, 2-3 pm, Fridays: Dec. 28, snow globes; Jan. 25, Furoshiki (tie dye); and Feb. 8, knitting crash course. Registration required.

Noon Year’s Eve, Monday, Dec. 31, 11 am-12:30 pm, kids age five and younger can ring in the new year a bit early at the library, with a countdown to 12 (noon), stories, crafts, games, and an apple juice toast. Registration not required.
