Women’s Lenten retreat

Saturday, March 12, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4030 Jackson St. NE. Join in as the women of Immaculate Conception explore this year’s theme: “A Musical Walk with Women of the Bible.” The speaker will be Jeanette Fortier, who lives in Rochester, Minn., and is a retired parish catechist and liturgist after 40+ years in intentional ministry in the church. She currently spends her time leading sing-alongs at nursing homes/memory care facilities in the Rochester area, and enjoys playing guitar and composing music as well as crocheting and Hardanger embroidery. Registration and light breakfast, 8:30-9 am; retreat, 9 am-noon. Lunch served at noon. Cost: $20, light breakfast and lunch included. Paid reservations required by March 6.
