Artists Who Teach – A PechaKucha
Learn about artists who teach at a PechaKucha Sunday, Jan. 20, 6 p.m. Art Force will host the free, open-to-public event at 1400 Van Buren St. NE.. In this fast-paced format, artists show and explain work with 20 slides in 20 seconds each. The program will feature Susan Armington, Suzann Beck, Marko Fields, Candy Kuehn, Layl McDill, Ernest Miller, Malcom Potek, Wayne Potratz, and Denise Tennen. On Thursday, Feb. 7, the 56th Annual Ann Arbor Film Festival tour will stop at Casket Cinema, in the studio of Mark Wojahn, Northwestern Casket Building, 681 17th Ave. NE, #145, doors at 7:30 pm, films at 8 pm. The screening will include 75 minutes of experimental and animated works.
