Cine Latino Festival
The MSP Film Society announced the lineup for its 2021 Cine Latino Film Festival, Oct. 8-14. The hybrid festival presents more than 20 award-winning narrative and documentary films with in-person screenings, filmmaker conversations, and Cine Latino at Home/en Casa, their virtual cinema platform. The Midwest Polka Association (MPA) invites the community to enjoy an evening of polkas, waltzes and obereks at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE, on Friday, Oct. 22, 7-11 pm. The fifth annual Minneapolis Halloween Race is set for Saturday, Oct. 30, at Father Hennepin Bluffs Park. Half and 10K start is at 8:30 am, 5K starts at 8:45 am. All races start and finish at Father Hennepin Park. Run for a cause and raise money for the Shriners Children's Hospital. Costumes not required, but are encouraged. Toy Train Show and Swap Meet
