LPNA Clothing Swap
Saturday, Oct. 12, 10 am-1 pm, Logan Park Recreation Center, 690 13th Ave. NE. Bring no more than 15 clothing items you no longer want or need (in clean, wearable condition-something you would give to a friend) to share in the swap, then “shop” the items others have brought. No undergarments or socks, adult-sized pajamas, workout clothing/yoga pants, clothing with embroidered or screen printed personalization (i.e., team sweatshirts), housewares, bedding, linens or toys. East Side Neighborhood Services, 1700 2nd St NE, 1:30-3 pm, Thursday, Oct. 24. Free flu and COVID shots for the community, hosted by ESNS. Located in the gym of ESNS. Walk up, no need to register. PACIM (Polish American Cultural Institute of Minnesota) is having their annual Soup Tasting Festival Sun., Oct. 27, 10:30 am–2:30 pm at Kolbe Hall in St. John Paul II School, 1630 4th St. NE., Seven ethnic soups will be available, including mushroom, borscht, zurek and Bigos. Compassionate Ocean Zen Center, located across the street from the Casket Arts building, is having an open house during Open Casket Weekend at the Casket Arts Building.
