Columbia Heights Jamboree
The Columbia Heights Jamboree will take place Thursday, June 27-Sunday, June 30. Thursday night will feature Columbia Heights' own "City Knights" band. Friday night, the Jamboree parade steps off at 6 pm. "DNR" will play the beer garden after the parade. Saturday night brings fireworks and more music from Joe Macko. A carnival with rides will be held throughout. $2 entry fee except for Sunday, the family fun day. The $1,000 Tasty Pizza medallion hunt starts on Wednesday the 26th.…

The Columbia Heights Firefighters' Association invites everyone to join us on Sunday, June 30th from 10 am-1 pm at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE, for an all-you-eat pancake breakfast. The breakfast will feature pancakes, sausages, eggs, coffee and juice. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 4-11, and kids under 4 eat free. The Lions will have a cash bar. Yoga in the park
Free yoga sessions at Logan Park, 690 13th Ave. NE. Classes are conducted by a professional yoga instructor. Bring your own yoga mat or towel, and hydration. The Columbia Park Neighborhood is the only neighborhood in Minneapolis without a neighborhood association to represent its interests. Cribbage tournaments
The Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association and HeadFlyer Brewing will host four separate cribbage tournaments on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Dates are: Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10.
