Little Kitchen Food Shelf volunteer meeting
Those who desire to help reduce food insecurity in Northeast Minneapolis are invited to a volunteer meeting at Little Kitchen Food Shelf. The call for art is open for the 2025 Northeast Calendar, coordinated by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. Images should represent Northeast in various ways and seasons. The Columbia Heights Jamboree will take place Thursday, June 27-Sunday, June 30. Thursday night will feature Columbia Heights' own "City Knights" band. Friday night, the Jamboree parade steps off at 6 pm. "DNR" will play the beer garden after the parade. Saturday night brings fireworks and more music from Joe Macko. A carnival with rides will be held throughout. $2 entry fee except for Sunday, the family fun day. The $1,000 Tasty Pizza medallion hunt starts on Wednesday the 26th.…
