Stone Arch Bridge virtual public meeting March 19
The Minnesota Dept. of Transportation will hold a virtual public meeting about the reconstruction of the Stone Arch Bridge Tuesday, March 19, 5:30-6:30 pm. Get an overview of the project, construction impacts, and schedule and participate in a Q&A session. Register at https://form.jotform.com/240504352939154?. Saturday, March 23, 10 am-12:30 pm, Mississippi Watershed Management Organization, 2522 Marshall St. NE. Participants will gather around a fire to make buckthorn charcoal from buckthorn branches harvested from the banks of the Mississippi River. They can sip on hot beverages while learning about buckthorn and the river from ecologist Alex Roth.
